I’m pleased to inform us about Engineering for Industry (E4I) – a project designed by Clintonel Innovation Centre (CIC) to bridge the skills gap in Nigeria between engineering education and the industry, enhance Industry-Academia collaboration and drive industrialisation.

Presently, we’re partnering with engineering faculties of 6 tertiary institutions in Nigeria.

We’ve an on-going research project involving engineering lecturers from 11 tertiary institutions.
We’re also partnering with Aba Chamber of Commerce.

We don’t pretend to have all the answers (no one truly does).
We do have the vision, passion and commitment to make a difference in our country.

So, we’re open to ideas, suggestions, insights, resources, partnerships and collaborations.

Engineers design and build products and equipment used for production, construction and manufacturing.
Every gadget, appliance and device we use are designed and built by engineers.

Building a strong indigenous engineering capacity is essential to industrialisation, employment generation and economic development.
An engineering research team from 11 tertiary institutions is conducting a research to understand the Skills Gap in Nigeria and how to improve Nigerian Engineering Education. They’re interviewing Engineering Professionals in different industries across Nigeria.

If you have an engineering background, please share your ideas with them by filling this 5-minute questionnaire.
You can also share this post with your contacts to enable us reach more engineering professionals.
Thanks
